At Straits International School Rawang, our students are leading meaningful change through the work of the ESG Committee. With a focus on environmental awareness and action, this student-led team is encouraging everyone to play a role in building a more sustainable future.Recently, the committee conducted an energy audit across the school to identify areas where we can reduce waste and use energy more efficiently. The results will soon be shared in a visual infographic to help all members of the community understand how their actions can make a difference.The team is also working on a video that captures the ESG mission and highlights how students are making a real impact. Once launched, the video will welcome new members and inspire others to get involved in sustainability efforts across the school.In addition, the ESG Committee has transformed the school’s bulletin boards into hubs of information. With energy-saving tips, updates and awareness content, these boards are sparking conversation and encouraging everyone to rethink their daily habits.At SIS Rawang, students are showing that when young people lead with purpose, small steps can grow into lasting change.
