Students celebrate teachers with the Golden Apple initiative

Our students are spreading gratitude through the Golden Apple Initiative, recognising teachers who inspire them and shaping a culture of appreciation.

At Straits International School Rawang, students are discovering the power of appreciation through the Golden Apple Initiative, an uplifting, student-led effort to celebrate the impact of their teachers.

Launched after the half-term break, the initiative invites students to write Golden Apple postcards thoughtful messages of thanks for teachers who have inspired, supported and helped them grow. More than just a gesture, it reflects the values of our Amazing Learning approach, where students learn not only through academic challenge but also through meaningful relationships.

By taking time to reflect and recognise the guidance they receive, students are helping build a school culture where kindness, encouragement and mutual respect are part of everyday learning.
