We provide over 60+ co-curricular activities, including sports, music, drama, academic clubs, and enrichment programs, empowering students to explore their interests and develop their talents.

At Straits International School Rawang, we believe that the heart of a thriving school lies in its community. That’s why we’re proud to have STEPS (Supporting Teamwork and Engagement among Parents at SIS) – a platform where parents and the school come together to collaborate, share ideas, and grow stronger together.
Our students proudly represent the school in a variety of sporting events. We have teams for football, basketball, badminton, volleyball, swimming, and more.
Yes, students may take books home to assist with homework and revision, although some books are kept at school.
Lockers are readily available for students across all year groups.
Straits International School Rawang is a harmonious community where importance is given not only to academic learning but also the development of essential social skills. Student behaviour is typically impeccable and the campus has a well-deserved reputation for being well-managed and orderly. When issue do occur between students, they are swiftly resolved with the support of parents and with learning and getting better between the main aim.
Students will receive a WinBook from the school. Parents are required to pay the designated technology fee to ensure their child has access to this essential learning tool.
Your child’s progress will be communicated regularly through a range of online platforms, including both Dojo, ISAMS and emails. Parents are always welcome to email teachers directly for more specific updates or to discuss any concerns.
We know that many students have phones in order to contact parents at the end of the school day, but our position is that phones should neither be seen nor heard during the school day itself. Phones and other devices may be used on occasion to support learning in lessons, but only under the direction of the teacher.
